The 2009 Australasian University Safety Association (AUSA) Conference took place in Sydney, July 7-10.
Under the broad theme of OHS in a Changing Climate, speakers addressed diverse topics currently posing challenges for OHS in tertiary education and research organisations, including leadership and safety culture, globalisation, security, new technology, generational diversity, wellness and wellbeing, selling safety and OHS in research and curriculae.
This biennial conference presents a rare opportunity for networking with OHS professionals from the tertiary education and research sectors throughout Australia and New Zealand as they come together to exchange views on current challenges, developments and successes relevant to their industry.
