This year, the conference will take place at the University of Sydney on Friday, June 21, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM (UTC+10:00) Australia/Sydney. This is happening the day following The Psych Health & Safety Conference to encourage greater in-person attendance, and as always, the event is free for all AUSA members
The day's lineup features carefully selected speakers who will address key issues facing our profession, including Psychological Risk Management, Critical Risk Strategy, and Safety in Design. Attendees will also have the opportunity to network with fellow AUSA members and participate in the AUSA AGM during the proceedings.

- Psychosocial Risk Management: Jason Van Schie, Managing Director of FlourishDX, addressed challenges and opportunities in managing psychosocial risk in higher education, focusing on quantifying risks and enhancing mental health practices in the workplace.
- Implementing Critical Risk Strategies: Kim Grady, Chief Health & Safety Officer at the University of Sydney, shared her experience in developing critical risk strategies in diverse environments, balancing innovative projects with effective risk management.
- Safety in Design: Paul Barton, Chief Health & Safety Officer at Monash University, recounted the redesign of Monash’s biomedical facility due to ventilation issues, emphasizing the importance of safety in design and valuable lessons learned.
