How can safety performance be accurately measured? Griffith University is shifting its approach to safety performance metrics following a report from Dr. Tristan Casey. The report recommends retiring the confusing terms 'leading' and 'lagging' indicators and using evidence-based 'Driving, Monitoring, Outcome & Learning' Indicators instead.
