Charles Nelson, University of South Australia

I have tertiary qualifications in Applied Science and have over 20 years’ experience in administering Work Health and Safety, primarily in the higher education environment. I have previously worked as a Senior WHS Consultant for Greencap (formerly NAA) including a 2- year full-time WHS Advisor position with the Infrastructure Branch at The University of Adelaide. Prior to this I held the positions of Senior Health and Safety Consultant within the Queensland Department of Education and Training and the Workplace Health and Safety Manager, Institute for Molecular Bioscience, at the University of Queensland. In addition, I have also worked as a researcher and in laboratory management in the tertiary sector for a number of years.
